Ed Sheeran has quit Twitter after being inundated with nasty comments from online trolls.

由于不堪忍受网上铺天盖地而来的肮脏评论的骚扰，歌手艾德·希兰已经注销了自己的推特。

He said: “I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it.

The 26-year-old revealed he recently got abuse from Lady Gaga fans over an interview - but says it was completely unjustified.

Ed explained that he gets kept in check by "people like my dad", so doesn't need it from strangers.
